Turmeric has been long recognised for its medicinal benefits for various health ailments from a common cold to life threatening diseases such as cancer and respiratory issues.

Wayanadan Turmeric is very famous for its superior quality. It can be differentiated from other turmeric by its orange yellow color and strong aroma due to the high curcumin content (>7%). This makes it highly suitable for medicinal purposes and allows us to use lesser amount of turmeric for cooking.
Turmeric is grown naturally in our own plantation in Wayanad, Kerala with the use of cow dung as the only fertiliser. For other different crops in the plantation, we use only bio-fertilisers and bio-pesticides and is certified (“Bharatiya Prakartik Krishi Padhathi”) by the officials from Agriculture Department who conducts frequent inspections. The turmeric is harvested manually during Dec-Jan and then processed (washed and dried under sunlight) and stored. Based on requirements, dried turmeric is grounded in our flour mill and packed. The natural curcumin present in the turmeric is not extracted or altered by any means.
