1. We are an eco-conscious company promoting sustainable farming, processing, and distribution. We use only eco-friendly paper pouches instead of plastic packaging materials. This is a strict policy, and it is clearly mentioned in the description of all our products.
2. Dried bark will not release its aroma on its own. If you break a piece of the bark and rub it in your palm, you will be able to smell it. Alternatively, grind a quill in your mixer, and you will notice the aroma lingering across the room.
Further, we are not sure whether you are aware of the difference between True Ceylon Cinnamon and Cassia. Unfortunately, most cinnamon available in the Indian market is actually cassia bark, which is often mislabelled or intentionally sold as True Cinnamon. When consumed regularly, cassia can pose health risks due to its higher content of a harmful compound called coumarin.
Many people assume that cinnamon should have a strong aroma and a spicy taste, but that is not true. Organic True Ceylon Cinnamon, like ours sourced directly from Sri Lanka, naturally has a mild aroma, a sweetish-spicy refined taste, and ultra-thin bark.
Received it today. Authentic Alba Cinnamon with ultra-thin layers and pencil-like quills. It has the true Ceylon Cinnamon aroma and flavour. Before this purchase, I had been buying from a company named Raw Spices in Sri Lanka, and what I received from Wayanad craft is exactly the same.
So I can confidently vouch for Wayanadcraft’s Authentic Ceylon Cinnamon.

Yours is 475/-, off course it is quality, but masses also look at price. As a general home buyer, I would be willing spend upto 200/- max for the bundle you have. It’s just my view on pricing.

Thanks for your feedback. Please note that we are selling high graded (Alba variant) authentic, organic Ceylon Cinnamon directly imported from Sri Lanka.
Unfortunately, most cinnamon in the Indian market is derived from cassia bark. It is mislabelled or intentionally sold as true Ceylon cinnamon. But when taken every day, Cassia poses health complications due to its higher content of a harmful substance called coumarin. A lot of Indians think cinnamon is meant to be spicy in taste, but that’s not true. True Ceylon Cinnamon, like that of ours, will always be mild in aroma and flavour, sweet, and the quills are made up of ultra-thin layers of bark.
